The LA Auto Show Goes Green

In one of the first indoor auto shows to return since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, the LA Auto Show, is looking cleaner and greener.

Electric vehicles stole the show with auto-makers like Fisker, Nissan and Subaru all debuting new electric SUV’s.

With presentations on how important it is to become environmentally aware Hyundai and Kia unveiled their all-electric concept cars and plug-in hybrids.

While there were still gas-powered vehicles like the new redesigned 2022 Land Rover Range Rover, and the Kia Sportage, it was overwhelmingly electric vehicles changing the overall theme of the auto show from previous years. It makes you wonder what is to come and just how much we have evolved our automotive industry.

We are now approaching the third year of the pandemic and many industries have implemented safety measures to avoid getting people sick including the automotive industry. Hyundai unveiled the SEVEN SUV concept at the LA Auto Show that offers features like vertical airflow, antibacterial copper and even a UVC sterilizer.

There was something for everyone this year. Although it was predominantly Hybrid and electric SUVs, driving enthusiasts were not left out. The 2023 Nissan Z and Corvette Z06 made their return.
